The kids had a taste of winter this week in our community.
They has a wonderful tree lighting party. Santa was there and they trucked in a "snow mountain" for the kids to go tubing on.
Lauren must have gone down that "mountain" 25 times! She had a ton of fun!
Just being around that snow for the couple hours we were there made me realize that I do not miss it...not even a little bit.

Happy Holidays to All!

Just wanted to say thank you to all who sent us beautiful Christmas cards this season. It's really nice to see the cards from far away and to know that although we are not close, we are still in your thoughts.

Please forgive us for not doing the same this year. Please know that you all are in our thoughts more often than you know. With our troubles mostly behind us (thankfully!) we are still very tight on money for a little while longer and the cost of stamps alone made sending Holiday Greetings to all impossible for us. This is the first year that has happened and I hope to never have it happen again.

Rob and I plan to take nice photos of the kids after the new year and get them out to everyone, but please bare with us. We are doing the best we can.

I hope you all enjoy your holiday. Wish you were all here to celebrate with us.
Looking forward to a new year. God Bless.
Smiles, Lynne

Tree lighting fun...

Lauren and Taylor on the Christmas Train

Here is the Sandoval Christmas tree right
between two royal palm trees.

Lauren asked Santa for a Happy Holiday.

Ben and his festive friends Ian and Alex.

Last night our community had a big tree lighting celebration. We all had a bunch of fun.

They had a snow machine(it never made it to the ground), they had a train for the kids to ride on, there were carolers singing, Santa arrived on a big fire truck(no sleighs in sunny Florida), there was cookies, punch and egg nog for all. Lauren was sure she didn't want to sit on Santa's lap but she then decided to take a turn and she was very happy she did. Ben had a fun time playing basketball and chatting with his friends. I wish all of you could have been there to enjoy it with us.
Smiles, Lynne
