The kids posing with their first prizes of the day!

Our family had a blast yesterday at our pool. The community has a lifestyle director who organizes lots of fun activities for the residents to do. Yesterday we had a Wacky Waters competition. There were 3 events to compete in. Event #1 was riding a pool noodle across the lagoon pool and back. Ben won for his age group(despite some teen girls cheating!) and Lauren came in second in her age group(although there were only 2 contestants). Event # 2 was a paddle board kick contest and both Lauren and Ben came in last on that one. Event #3 was the waterslide races. The kids were very excited about that one. Lauren had a strategy that her shirt would make her more slippery, so she wore it during the contest. She did not win. Ben won for his age group and then got to compete in the champions round with all winners as well as adults(Rob and Myself included!). Ben won that round too! He almost broke the Sandoval waterslide race record from years past! For the record, Rob and I were not fast...
The kids won prizes and they had such a fun time. I really like this neighborhood a lot.
This weather (mid 80's) is why we live in Florida. It's just perfect.
Smiles, Lynne

Sounds like you all had a really good time and that you are all happy there. I am happy for you. Our temperature here in the morning yesterday was 14 degrees.
